Louhi series started as a project for “Matka Rumpujen Maailmaan”- youtube drum channel. Guys wanted to have a dark, dryish ride that opens up easily- for more quiet locations- and music. After we had second (and “the chosen one”) version finished guys thought that it would be perfect for studio, jazz, blues.. specially just playing with your headphones on and enjoying live and music! These cymbals are medium-thin in weight, 20″ weights approx. 2000 grams, 21″ 2200 and 22″ 2400 grams.

In Sihi family Louhi- series could be described as Sysi -serieses dry uncle.

So what about the name: Louhi? It’s (surprise!) Finnish word and originally Louhi is a character from Finnish mythology. An elderly woman, a real ”boss lady” with supernatural abilities. If dark & dry is your cup of tea, try Louhi, you’ll love it!..
