Kaski splash

When you need a sharp accent, quick wash, or expressive burst of tone, the Sihi Kaski Splash rises to the occasion. Designed with speed and clarity in mind, these splashes feature a fairly bright voice and fast opening, making them perfect for fills, accents, or layered textures in both live and studio environments.

Available in 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″, these cymbals are crafted in a thin weight class. That thinness gives them sensitivity and responsiveness, allowing light strokes to register while still delivering punch when needed. The sound is intentionally designed to be crisp, not overly sustained — the sustain is quite short to short, and volume is medium.

Tonally, the Kaski Splash sits in the mid-high to mid pitch range, giving it enough brightness to cut but without harshness. It’s a cymbal that jumps out in a mix when struck, yet fades cleanly, letting your other elements shine through.

These splashes integrate beautifully with other cymbals, whether used singly, in stacks, or in accent roles next to crashes and rides. Their quick response and short nature make them especially useful in linear passages, interiors of songs, or moments where clarity is paramount.

As with all Kaski series cymbals, these are hand-hammered in Istanbul from premium B20 bronze, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern musical demands.
