Kaski dark hi-hat

For drummers who want hi-hats with more warmth, body and a slightly darker character, the Sihi Kaski Dark Hi-Hat is a solid choice. These hats feature a heavier bottom cymbal which gives the sound fullness, depth and a strong, warm chick. Stick definition is clear  and the overall feel is musical and controlled. Kaski Dark works well in situations where you want a fuller and less bright hi-hat sound.

Available in sizes from 12 inches through 16 inches. The top cymbal is medium thin while the bottom is noticeably heavier. This combination makes the response quick but stable and gives you enough weight for projection without losing sensitivity. The finish is traditional lathing with a raw bell.

Tonally, they sit in the mid to mid-low range with a warm, rounded voice. Sustain is medium which lets the tone open naturally before it fades. Volume is also medium, but the heavier bottom gives a bit more presence when needed. Great for small to mid-sized stages, studio work, blues, rock and any playing situation where a fuller hi-hat sound fits the music.

Like all Sihi cymbals, every pair is hand hammered from premium B20 bronze in Istanbul and each set has its own character.
