The Sihi Hohto Ride embodies the dual nature of the Hohto series — a cymbal that’s bright enough to shine but refined enough to stay musical. Created in collaboration with Kai Hahto to meet his exacting needs, this ride provides clear, articulate stick voice and a bell that cuts through thick textures.

Available in 18″ to 22″ sizes, the Hohto Ride is crafted with medium weight, giving it enough mass for body and sustain while preserving responsiveness for finesse and dynamics. The traditional finish brings out richness, warmth, and harmonic complexity alongside the brightness.

Tonally, this ride sits in the mid-high region, with a stick response that is clean and crisp. The bell is strong and cutting, allowing you to articulate accents, bell patterns, or dynamic shifts clearly in dense mixes. The sustain is moderate — long enough to float, but not so long it muddies up faster grooves or busy arrangements. Volume leans toward medium to medium-high, giving you presence without overwhelming subtle passages.
